Fourteen huge cranes were in operation 24/7 to remove the tons of
debris. Griffin Demolition Company of Greensboro, NC was charged
and challenged with the removal.

In addition to the WTC Towers, fourteen other buildings
covering 16 acres were damaged or destroyed.

The debris is removed, put on trucks, and transported to a
landfill on Staten Island where it is weighted and catalogued.
