Eulogies to Arafat - Something just doesn't ring true here!

Did the world lose a hero or a heinous villain? It depends on who is speaking. Would you believe that the World Council of churches and the National Council of churches acknowledge the leadership efforts of Arafat and recognize his contributions to peace. "On his long road as a leader, Yasser Arafat came to the recognition that true justice embraces peace, security and hope for both Palestinians and Israelis. These same organizations continually criticize  the Bush administration and American military effort in the middle east. Going so far as to state:   We support those who are called to participate in actions of conscientious objection, nonviolent civil disobedience, tax resistance, or other nonviolent acts of refusing consent to this war.

 Before you are quick to dismiss this as a view share by many Americans are you really ready to acknowledge that the "Father of Terrorism" is the preferred model for  bringing peace to the Middle east?

This oversight of Arafat's history of training and paying terrorist by the WCC/NCC while heaping praise on his legacy offers evidence that these Organizations continue to harbor resentment and spread discontent around the world towards the US. Amazingly more and more Americans are listening .
