Vented Coal Baskets

The Vented version of "The Evans" grate. Each unit comes fully assembled and tested by our CSA Approved lab.   Order Burner and Basket separately. This burner is equipped with push button Piezo Igniter and Remote ready millivolt valve with flame height adjustment on burner.

This surround was created to compliment our vent free firebox. It can also be used with your existing fireplace to add a Victorian touch.

The  vented  fire box is the beginning of  a complete fireplace where none existed before. Install with approved chimney, add coal basket, front and mantel

Manual burner with match light safety pilot offers an affordable option without sacrificing safety or appearance.
The Rotary valve  used on the gas coal basket is remote ready - you can add the remote control later but why wait? Enjoy the ability to raise and lower the flame - or turn the fire on and off - from any position in the room. Convenient!

Please note manual valve burner cannot be upgraded to remote control later!

Rotary style valve is located below the burner, accessible behind the "ash cover" portion of the cast iron grate. This keeps the valve cool, allowing our gas coal basket to be installed into the tiniest of fireplaces.

The valve used on the gas coal basket is remote ready - you can add the remote control later but why wait? Enjoy the ability to raise and lower the flame - or turn the fire on and off - from any position in the room. Convenient
